Today my blog will be a little more politic than other days…

Are you heard about the Malvinas or Falkland Islands?

These islands are so famous by the “Guerra de Malvinas” or “Falklands War” happened in 1982 between Argentina and the United Kingdom by a long sovereignty dispute.      

These islands are in the south of the world in front of Argentine coast and currently are governed by the United Kingdom like an overseas territory and this is a big problem for both states.

In my opinion the islands are Argentine because four arguments;

First a geographic argument; the islands are in the South-American continental platform. (460 Kilometers front the Argentine coast.)   

Second a historical argument; because when the Spanish empire falling down his territories passed to Argentine sovereign by the called “Jus Posidetis”.

Third a Demographic argument; The Patagonian aborigines came to the Malvinas in canoes, leaving archaeological pieces like tops of arrow and remains of canoes. 

Finally it´s amazing how the nature gives his argument to the Argentine claims because so many species of birds migrate from the Argentine to the Malvinas to nest there.

Today I'm talk about my favorite film; Vanilla Sky

To starts this movie it's the American version of a spanish film called "Abre los Ojos" inspired in the surrealist movement.

The movie start with David Aames, a young men that have all that an American men's wants; girls, money and power because he it's a heir and owner of a successful company of publishing in New York.

In his birthday, he meets Sofìa Serrano and fall in love instantly, let in a second place his friend Julianna Gianni who hitherto thought had a sort of romantic relationship with David.

This encounter with Sofìa makes David think about his life and his need of settle down and change his spendthrift life style. All in a night when David discovers what is the "true love".  

Everything changes when, prompted  by jealousy, Julianna causes an accident, crashing his car out of a bridge with David's into the car who finished completely desfigurated.

With this, David can see the other side of life and the movie continues.....

Here's Victor


The last week I told them about my favorite Band, Oasis, Do you remember?  


Well, in this occasion I go to talk about the Compact Disc or better known like CD's.... 


If you don't know what is a CD, it's a optical disc used to store digital data. A standard CD have a diameter of 12 Centimeters and it's still the favorite way of storage and commercialization of music of the world.    


In my house my mother have a lot of CDs but they were not mine. My first CD it was one of a Chilean rock group called Tronic and was a friend's gift. The name of the CD was "Ke patine la Risa". 

If you've never used a CD ,let me tell you that is the easiest thing in the world! You just need a Radio or a Computer with an optical unit and press the button to open the unit, late you must put the CD there and finally press the same button again to close the unit and can listen or check the information  on the CD. 

Currently I don't use the CDs to much because they are replaced by the DVDs and the Mp3 files. But sometimes it's agreeable feel the magic of listening your favorites bands in the radio with their original CD.
  
I think that if the CDs had never invented maybe the Mp3 files and the DVDs had never been seen by the world and probably still we would use the vinyl disc's like our grandparents.

I don't know, but it would be a very sad world.


In my small head's world a band it's the soundtrack of my life.


Did you heard about Oasis? Any song? 


Well, if you not. Here's a short info about they:


Oasis was a band born in Manchester, UK and their first name was "The Rain". Their principal members was the Gallagher brothers, Noel and Liam. Unfortunately after of a big discussion between both, the band break up and Liam create a new band "Beady Eye" without Noel.


Oasis is known in the world for being a pioneer in the kinds Britpop and Indie Rock, Together with groups like Blür and The Verve.


The first song that the world public acclaimed was "Supersonic"; later the song that took them to the world reputation was "Wonderwall". Then, his another great success was "Stand by me" and "Don't look back in anger" sung by Noel.


Oasis it's my favorite band currently because their music it's awesome and too because helps me in a very sad moment for me. When my girlfriend break up with me. Before that songs like "Stop Crying you heart" and "Don't look back in anger" turned into a great consolation for me.

My Auto-biography

Hi everyone! Here's Victor. Owner of Pirate Channel. If you want to know more about me I'm from Chile, in the south of the world. Whereabouts? Santiago, the capital city. specifically in San Miguel, the cradle of a famous rock band here in Chile, Los Prisioneros.

I was born on 13th January, 1993.I studied in the Liceo Salesiano Manuel Arriarán, popular called "Don Bosco La Cisterna" or simply "El Bosco" a place where  another famous band studied too, Chancho en Piedra.
Currently I'm studying public administration in the Universidad de Chile and writting this new blog.

I love play and see too the roll hockey, a game so fast and dizzy where see a few of goals are uncommon. I like too listening music and be on Facebook but overcoat talk with my friends and with new people.
